What do you feel is the strongest aspect of your platform for the 2010-11 year, that you feel will benefit students both now and in the future?

I feel the strongest part of my platform is support for clubs. I have some good plans for the growth and promotion of new and current clubs. Being the founder and president of my own club (along with membership of many others), I can relate; Clubs can definitely use additional support.  This will benefit students because clubs can be much more enriching and goals can finally be realized without costing an arm and a leg.

How will you ensure that students both on and off campus are involved with the Student Union and its events?

There is only so much BUSU is able to do. It's ultimately up to the student's discretion on whether or not they wish to participate in these events. We cannot force their involvement. However, I believe one thing we can do to improve attendance is to give ample notice and promotion of such events. Many students are unaware of the events on campus.

How do you envision your relationship with clubs in the upcoming year?

I am a huge advocate of clubs. Thus, relationships would grow in a positive direction. I feel that many clubs will be happy with the support and plans I have for clubs in 2010-2011. I will give power to the clubs so that they are more robust and make it much easier to gain members and support. After all, clubs are one of the best ways to meet people and make lasting friendships.

In what ways will you be visible through the year other than during Frosh Week and Frost Week?

By walking around campus... a lot. Other than that, I plan to have fun, interactive events that will be appealing to everyone, not just students living on campus. VPSS exist because of students, so I will do everything in my power to keep the students pleased.
