African Heritage Film Festival
In honour of Black History Month, the Roots African Caribbean Society presents the African Heritage Film Festival. The movies are being shown for free, and an underground railroad tour is $5.
Feb. 2: Ghost of Cite Soleil, WH 207, 3 - 5 p.m.
Feb. 3: Race to Freedom, TH 244, 3 - 5 p.m.
Feb. 4: One Love, AS 215, 3 - 5 p.m.

Brock University Blood Drive

Where: St. Catharines Blood Donor Clinic,

Appointments on Tuesday, Feb. 2 and Wednesday, Feb. 3 need to be filled! Brock University is partnering with St. Catharines Canadian Blood Services for a Blood Donor Drive!
We are inviting students, faculty, and staff to sign up for an appointment during the week of Feb. 1 - 5 to donate blood. You can sign up for an appointment at the Schmon Tower Welcome Desk between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by calling ext 4636. You can sign up on your own, or in groups up to 4 people. On the day of your appointment, you will be provided with transportation to and from Brock, and be brought to the Blood Donor Clinic on Ontario St. The whole process will take approximately 1 - 2 hours, so set aside enough time for yourself.

OPIRG Brock's Downtown Info Shop will be hosting FREE documentary screenings every Monday at 5 p.m. Please come out and bring your friends for an evening of FREE entertainment! Concessions will be available for donation.

Join us for Professor Lynn Arner's presentation of "In Defense of Cupid: Poetics, Gender, and Accountability According to the Legend of Good Women".
Film Screening: Finding Dawn
When: Friday, Feb.5, 7 - 9 p.m.
Where: TH 325
The screening of Finding Dawn will be followed with a discussion hosted by Margot Francis, Centre for Women's Studies, and students from the Aboriginal Students' Organization at Brock.
